To those that complained so loudly to ANET for a nerf (even I felt was needed but never backed it) go tell the people in ToA that are looking for a group how much you accomplished with your complaining.

Hey guess what, they've been discussing this issue since EotN went live before anyone even complained. If they didn't do shit the people who are anti-Ursan would be saying the same exact thing, so stop crying. If the squeaky door cries for oil, someone is going to give the door its oil if it's needed. Obviously after a years worth of Anet being split down the middle on the Blessings, they came to a decision and enacted it on their own accord and decided the door needed some oil. If it makes you sleep better at night that they listened to some of their fans in the process of this discussion, then all the more power to you, but I doubt anyones argument actually did anything to affect their discussion in the offices at all.

Well from tests today. UA is great, I wont' say anymore.
Oh and the hero update. FAILED. Because I went with a friend on a forge run and Mr Good Ol Koss, ran right past the group of shadows that pops up (second not first) and charge the monk that was not being targeted or even in range. He seen it though so he had to storm the monk. I've had a hero run right for enemies when I"m going past them, not touching them. Wth is this? Trying to make it more interesting? Cause well you did just that and that's kinda cool I suppose but it sorta sucks if you have 3 mobs on you cause Koss smoked too much and doesn't know the right group to go after.

Actually none of us know what happened or was discussed, their dev notes suggest they have been listening and monitoring including players feedback, and we know who have been the most vocal, the ones who talk about skill, elite areas etc.
By the way, the OP does not mention what is being discussed at A-Net office, nor is crying about the fact, read the post carefully it is a plea for players to think and be rational, not rage quit GW, that is all. IMHO that is a good post to keep players in the game.

It certainly was 'monster' but i can't say it was interesting. Oh well. Skill updates rarely affect me so I'll continue playing as usual. Look forward to seeing the hero AI improvements though.

I get that, but the part I quoted was still saying how anti Ursans cried and got what they wanted.
And ArenaNet HAS been discussing this since EotN. Just ask them! A lot of people have asked time and time again to Gaile if they were going to change it, but they never had anything planned. That's because they were split down the middle if it was good or bad thing there, and they don't really do anything unless if a majority of people are on board. They didn't have any plans to change it, cause not everyone at the time agreed to change it. Linsey (iirc) passively mentioned it in one of her archives a long time ago...or maybe it was Regina...

anyone who uses Koss over a necro hero is a noob anyways and deserves to get smoked.

Actually they only partially got what they wanted "a nerf to UB", but, people are still forming UB groups and having successful runs sooooooooooooooo guess what that means? Those that whined are still out of luck getting into PUGS even with all the changes thus they failed and will continue to QQ.

Again, Anet didn't do it because of the QQ.
Also its slightly successful (and people are forming UB groups to test it out...), very few people wanted to see it outright die.
It's just slower.
And there's way better options now.

Okay then I forgot one part that you made me just remember. While doing the first quest, at the part where you get up to the Abyssal, we aggroed the Abyssal and stuff, the other person on my team called the Abyssal. Guess what Master of Whispers and Zhedd did? The ran right past the CALLED Abyssal, right down the cliff, right to the Monk and Shadow Beast group, who were close to us, but about a bubble and a half from aggro on both of us, plus they were patrolling back the other way. BUT NOPE! THEY JUST HAD TO GO AFTER THEM.
Granted it was more hilarious than upsetting cause I was using UA on my monk and we all know how imba that is at the moment. We also ended up aggroing the monk and warrior group below, and the monk and shadow group that patrols above. It was kind of lame, but we lived through it with few deaths and the deaths we did have were quickly picked up by imbaUA. It was a lot of fun yes, but still that's not improvement on the hero AI.

Well since I cant find or be bothered to find your quote to badly Bryant, but you asked nicely so here it is.
UB isnt a nerf.
1. They removed the energy degen - buff
2. Still cant be stripped and Edenial no longer works and neither does it kick you out of form when energy reaches 0 - buff
3. All profeesions have the same armor and HP - buff
4. Not everything is removed from your character when you use UB. see pix below
5. They made it where r8 is the same as r10 - buff
Im sure I could come up with more. but lets see what they did nerf on it now
1. It last 60 secs and recharges in 60 secs - nerf
2. They changed 1 of the dual attacks to non-armor ignoring
Yeap I can really see where you call it a nerf
Things they didnt really change the knockdown still is multiple foes. You only have to be close to them but hey you already was to begin with.

You are in UB form attributes dont really matter all anyways so its nothing really. As wars and dervs will be effectedy it for there weapons. Besides paragons and necros who have innate abilities from there attributes. Thus making all classes the same, which is what some didnt want to begin with lol
Theres a massive lag to GURU tonight or well this morning too.

To the perma - sin farmers, go Hard mode with a sliver build and since they are range attack now they no longer scatter, the more you kill the better it gets. ten minutes on the chaos plains had 2 ecto, will do a full run later.
All the QQ's start your engine and yes I am laughing my butt off at you.
Don't ever get into a build war with farmers, we win.

Why did it take so long to understand that skills like snow storm are so bad that they are not even worth using when you build your complete skillbar around them and that every old spell was a much better choice in any situation until today. Oh and no those skills were not fine, they were freaking horrible.
